  • About Us

The 1st team is the end product of the initial Under 14 team the Club started in 2002 with players added in along the way!! The bulk of the squad played at Under 18 level in the 2006/7 season in the South Wales Youth League.

The 2007/8 season was our first in Senior football and to win the Newport & District 2nd Division Championship and 'Club of the Year' was a great achievement.

The 2008/9 season saw us playing in the 1st Division,we lost key players for large chunks of the season but still managed to get promoted to Premier X at the first attempt-a tremendous effort. We also got to the last 16 of the LSPL Cup and won the inaugural ' Seamus Lee Cup'.

The 2009/10 season saw us playing in the Premier Division and competing in the Lucozade Sport Performance League and what a ride it was!! After the shock of losing Sam,we tried to get our season back on track-winning more games than we lost, got to the last 16 of the Amateur Cup and gained valuable lessons along the way.

Being part of the LSPL was superb, from the free kit, drinks, support to Gaffer going to Carrington to watch Man Utd train to Borja winning a masterclass with Darren Bent to being top of Div 3 for most of the year-fantastic experience and definitely made us more Premier League.

The 2010/11 season saw us playing in the Premier Division with our eyes wide open and ready for a big push for promotion to the Gwent County League,we started well and finished well but a mid season 'wobble' meant we finished the season in 5th place!!We set a few team records on the way-most wins, most points and most goals scored so plenty of positives to build on.

The 2011/12 season saw us playing in the Premier Division and  competing in the Amateur Cup and the FAW Trophy - after some upheaval we bounced back with a 5th place league finish and competed in our first Cup Final - the Dennis Herbert Senior Bowl.

The 2012/13 season saw us competing in the Welsh Cup for the first time and erecting pitch barriers with the help of Groundwork Caerphilly,Britvic and Mr Marmite himself - Robbie Savage.

The 2013/14 season will see us again having two senior teams as the rebuilding process begins in earnest and will see us once again competing in the Welsh Cup,FAW Trophy,Amateur Cup,League Cup alongside playing in the Newport & District League - 1sts in the Premier Division and 2nds in the First Division - with the aim once again to push for promotion to Gwent County level football.
